I am beginning to reload for a bolt action rifle. To get the most life out of the case, I am not full length resizing the case. I have noticed the fire formed case is a little tight feeding from the internal rotary magazine into the bolt action. Is it an option to modify the the base of the bolt action to allow for the slightly larger case diameter?

It would make a lot more sense to simply fully size the cases, brass life be damned, rather than alter the rifle.

Do not alter your bolt, alter your reloading practice.
While fire forming is a great idea for some rifles, you may do better to just FL resize if you are running into difficulty chambering as was pointed out above.

If you are talking about the partially sized case being hard to chamber do not alter your rifle, alter your sizing. A sized brass should enter the chamber freely. If the bolt is hard to close it is probably because in partial sizing the case the shoulder has an almost microscopic bulge in effect increasing the length of the case head clearance. Sizing the case a bit more will flatten that shoulder bulge and the bolt should close easily. Don't push the shoulder back, just flatten that bulge...
You can not 'neck' size with a full length die as it sizes the case diameter and the neck diameter at the same time. If you want to neck size you need to buy a neck sizing die which will not size the body at all. This will only work a few times and you will need to full length size.

Rifle is a Custom built Mauser action chambered in 270.
There is no problem with the bolt closing..problem is the fire formed case is tight feeding into the bottom of the action from rotary magazine. There is a plate under spring tension pushing up and to the side against the cases . As the bolt is pushed forward the case is pushed forward and lifts up into the action.
Appears I will resize the case. Perhaps if I resize the case just enough to give clearance then finish with a neck size die.
