I don't understand a competition requiring a picture of a gun you want to win...if I had one to take a pic with I wouldn't need this contest. Should be something that allows more nutz to enter.

Read the first few pages of the thread, it is explained there. Lots of folks have offered the use of their shotgun for the contest. There is also the roadshow testing that allows folks to do just that as well.

Just out of curiosity, how many other forum sponsors do you see do giveaways and free testing of a firearm etc.?

Here is a photo of the test UTS at the range in Nova Scotia. We were blasting away at a mannequin and targets and literally blowing the stands apart with # 4 birdshot.
