Hey all

Been an instructor for about 6 years now and have gone through many Single Action revolvers. Just wondered to those instructors that teach the restricted course, what Single Action you have found lasts the longest, to the abuse of students. Now i don't want to use an 7 to 1000 dollar firearm, so what is affordable, never to be shot live, reliable.

Finished my RPAL course on Sunday, the instructor I was working with had a .22 Ruger, can't remember the model, but it had certainly seen some use!

I have 2 old H&S .22 revolvers. They were both about $200. One seems to have packed it in last weekend but the other I've been using for about 5 years and it's still going strong. Every now and again the students will jam the mechanism but a swipe under the cylinder releases the mechanism.
