Firearms license still not in mail

Me too I didn't get any papers for the CFSC, the instructor told us we would get papers, but nothing, and it was back in october 08. So I mailed in to the CFC the PAL application with a copy of the hunter certificate I took a class for a week later the CFSC, which is a hunting permit in Quebec, there is the code F and L on the card, F is for firearm hunting, L is for the CFSC and exam.
I waited three months for nothing, due to a stupid anti-gun instructor who knows absolutely NOTHING, about guns, about gun laws, basically I got a retarded rat a$$ as a CFSC instructor.
And my RPAL class is march 21st, I think I will take back my money and challenge the exam at the gun club with the man responsible of the class this week or as soon as possible, it's a waste of time and money.

Yes, we were in a class of around 30? 40? There was quite a few people. I did not take the hunter's safety in the course that was offered, i do not need to go hunting, that's why i have cattle. But i do have gophers, and alot of the, and alot of giant holes and possible damaged machinery, and broken ankles for cows, so i decided to get it, and buy a nice .22lr.

process

Farmboy, if you can get the instructor to fax you copies of the legal sized document that he filled out, you can use a fax or photocopy with your PAL application to forward to the CFO.

You still have the instructor's phone number, address and name. You can call the Canada Firearms Centre and also give them the instructor's name and number.

The instructor charged you and your dad, so it is on file. If he did not declare both of you being in the course, then there would not be any legal document.

These documents that record instructor's licence number, course number, test scores etc.....are accounted for and serialized so it is somewhere.

I will get back to you guys, my dad phoned the instructor and he talked to him, so i'll ask him more about what's going on. We know forsure that it's on record, the instructor is just slow?

Process

The instructor has to send in his copy of the tests, you have to send in your copy of the tests with your PAL application, picture, references and fee.

Just ask him to fax you copies of both non r and r tests.

Dont let him stall for time.

Report him to the CFC.

when i done the test he corrected them and then gave me a copy as soon as he had it corrected. which he done in the classroom where i done the test!! I think your instructor is a bit of a slacky!!!

So here's the scoop. My dad phoned the office to ask basically "wtf is going on" And turns out, our instructor is fallen off the face of the earth. The class that we've taken the course with, almost all of them took both the Hunter's Safety, and the Firearms Safety course. well actually all of them did except for myself and my dad. So, they all got their Hunter's Safety certificate in the mail, But NONE, no one, not a single soul, got their firearms papers in the mail. The people at the office said they've been trying to reach him on any phone possible. But still no reply. So, they're saying, that we might have to go into the CFC office in Regina and take some kind of test again! It's been over a year since I've studied anything to do with firearms safety, or even touched a gun! All i gotta say, is I'm going to find out this instructors name and try and get his license revoked. This is unacceptable, so many times we've needed a gun on the farm, but every time we needed one, we had to phone a neighbor to come out and shoot the cow for us. Or try and race over and shoot a coyote to find that it's long gone. This is absolute rubbish.

Sorry for taking out some of my frustration in the post for your guys to read, but I don't know how I'm going to do on the test.

:50cal::mad:

So, myself and my dad went into the firearms office, he finally sent in some tests. I got my test in there, but my dad didn't. So, i got my papers and my dad didn't. Weird. The office, and my dad have been phoning this instructor very often. And still have been unable to get a hold of him.
