Firearms Registration Certificate Question

OK, maybe a dumb question but I want to follow the rules.

Bought a new Glock and received the Firearms Registration Certificate from Miramichi.

I also have the Advantage Arms 22lr conversion kit for the new Glock.

Under the heading "Standard Conditions" on the form it states- "Firearm owners must report to the Register of Firearms, within 30 days any modification to the type, action, caliber or gauge of the firearm".

So the question is, do I need to report to Miramichi the fact that I can change the caliber of this firearm from 9mm to 22lr?

I am assuming they mean permanent modification but you never know with our screwed up gun laws.

You do not need to - it is on and off , but if you want to muddy
the waters, change the card to both calibers, it drives the ladies
on the phone nuts;) Yes it is doable

Call them everytime you change it, even if it's 4 or 5 cell phone calls from the range ;)

Don't worry about it, unless your glock has a different registration card than mine, it doesn't list caliber, just barrel length, and you'd only need to report that if you changed it to a different class of firearm (to prohib, or if you found some magic way to make it non-restricted).
