Firearms transfer process post registry?

Anyway, selling online is not a problem, just ask a scan image of the p.a.l you will have the name and date of expiration. For me its clear, if you cant show me a valid p.a.l, sorry i wont sell.

If someone wants to sell a gun illegally, there has been no change. Transfers to unlicenced individuals have been happening since 1978. They will continue to happen.
Check the buyers PAL. If you are suspicious, call to confirm that the PAL is valid.
If the person has a PAL, and you feel uneasy about making the transfer, don't. Take responsibility for your actions. Don't depend on big brother.
I've lived through pre-FAC, FAC and PAL times. Don't imagine a problem when there isn't one.

All great advice here! Thanks for making this clear. I've lived through all the pre-FAC, FAC times, and then PAL moments. Darn... I'm getting old! My memory is getting older.

Cheers,
Barney

If doing an internet sale just call in to make sure the PAL is valid or ask for a scan of the card .Just like the old FAC system check licence looks good done.

You have to be nekkid, facing east whilst juggling chipmunks, to affect a transfer now that the registry is gone.. naw just kidding, to sell check for pal... if you believe is valid, take money, give gun.. put money in evelope, send to me.. failing to send me money is an option..
