Fireclean for your pistols and revolvers?

The whole idea behind FireClean is hot and messy guns that get used hard (AR-15's basically). Pretty much the opposite of a revolver, so you won't see any of the advantages of FireClean in a revolver.
 
seems like everyone is always looking for snake oil to make the clean up faster. It doesn't take that long to clean a handgun anyways, (and I hate cleaning) . For the cost savings might as well just stick to Hoppe's #9 or mix up a batch of ed's red. Then take the money saved and buy another box of ammo.

This is what I have done. I do not even try to clean the face of the revolvers cylinder anymore because the next time I use it, it the same as before.
