fired "10 times", "15 times", "5 times"?!!! What do these mean?

hi, I saw those terms quite often. But I never was sure about what those suggested. 10 rounds? 10 trips to the range? Does this count include dry-fire:p?

Are you talking about brass or firearms?

If it is firearms I wouldn't trust such a low ball number. What gun nut would ever only shoot 5-15 rounds from a brand new gun? Unless it is a .50BMG in which case that would be 50-150 bucks :D

One who buys a ton of guns. Anyone will tell you the first thing that is a downfall of owning many guns is that there is not enough time to use them all. Some of my guns have been taken out once from new, then a new gun comes along. I have a bunch of NEVER fired guns, not because I will not shoot them but because how do you decide which to take to the range. I am not gonna complain though, or stop buying more:D

I've still got probably a dozen or more guns that I've purchased or built that haven't been fired yet, some I've had for more than a year! Simply a function of not enough time and toting them all to the range. A full day at the range is a full day for me. Takes over an hour to fully load the van with all the gun cases, ammo, gear, etc.... Try to get there just as the sun rises to shoot the long guns when the wind is at it's calmest, switch over to handguns and black guns mid-morning to early afternoon. If I'm up to it, an informal round or two of Trap or Sporting Clays in the mid-late afternoon....then give everything a quick cleaning, pack-up and an hour and twenty minute drive home. Tote everything into the house and there is stays until the next morning, unless I'm really full of energy!:)

I too have guns that have "only" fired 5 or 10 rounds, most are pure function checks. Depending on the seller, they may not be BS'ing you!:)

Posers who build $5000 rifles and don't use them except for posts in the photo thread and as sausage magnets on the range..

LOL.. they just take it out of the case, set it on the bench then walk around and talk to people for a couple hours and hope someone asks them about it....

What you do is get your friend to talk to him and distract him while you run off with it and shoot it several times :D
