So I bought a wet tumbler which makes my primer pockets cleaner than they have ever been. I have noticed that some of my 45acp brass that has been fired many times no longer has a round flash hole (or what ever the hole that goes from the primer pocket to the powder charge is called). Some of the holes have gotten very oval, does this matter? Should I chuck the brass or just keep shooting it?

They were probably punched instead of drilled. Flash holes shouldn't change shape under normal circumstances. Just a thought but is your decapping rod straight and tight?

Using 9mm range brass, the flash holes can vary from so tight the pin gets stuck to offset to looking like they were punched with a nail. Every single round worked.
I use my .44 mag brass until the splits and cracks at the case mouth get too big. Of all the things that could affect accuracy, flash hole consistency is way down my list.

Keep on reloading the 45acp till
you can not see the markings
Primers do not fit
mouth cracks
so short crimp changes

What you can do collect them in to one batch and use them when you think you might loose them ....
Deep snow ... Long grass ... or at the indoor club when some one is picking up your brass faster than you can.
