I would say that $300 to 400 to actually SELL is in about the right range. Yes, you will see many ASKING much more for various 12(6) guns, but it is a buyers market, and the number of buyers is shrinking.
The only 12(6) guns maintaining any kind of value are pre-1946 because they can be passed on, and a few high value, specialty guns, such as Pythons, etc, or Walther PP or PPK in 380 or 22 that can be converted to restricted.
My dad has a Firestar with the Starvel finish, he bought it in the EE about 2 months ago. What a great little gun. I think he paid $500 for it, seeing it and handeling it, I think it was well worth it.
