Anybody know how to adjust the spring tension on a savage 10 bolt? I was getting missfires and realized that the last time i took the bolt apart i unknowingly unscrewed the spring tension...i might have done that a few time more in the past and could be why i was getting alot of vertical groups. I screwed it in alot more and i no longer have those missfires but how do i know if it's correct? i cant find any specs. Is it enough that the rear end of the pin assembly is flush with the bolt when completely forward...too much, not important...dunno. Thanks for any input....
