Seems like a simple thing........what am I overlooking?
New trigger and receiver using old bolt - are there dimensional changes on the older bolts?
Holes on trigger will not line up to receiver as hitting bolt - stumped:confused:

Looks like your missing the forward trigger pin to hold the trigger group (assembly) in place. They fall out easily when you remove the stock.

SCG

Edit: I read that wrong. Your saying you can’t get the front pin in. I had troubles with one I worked the bolt and it slid into place. Mine are old ones as well. Hope that helps.

Found the problem - not sure what the part is called but had to remove the pin and reposition to get it down lower.

The finished product.

Cost to build:
Stock and barrel: $80 + $20 to ship
Receiver and trigger: $200 + $15 to ship
Action bolt and magazine: $45
Bolt and charging handle/spring: Free as received from a friend which was my motivation to do this build.
Total: $360
If you add the cost for the bolt and charging handle, buying used would probably be cheaper unless you had time to source out better deals on the parts. Was doing this for a co-worker so was motivated to get it done sooner than later.

Satisfaction to build = priceless
