Very nicely done! The GM will shoot very well. I have a 20" on mine and up to about 75 yards, there's hardly any difference in accuracy between my Savage .17 HMR and the 10/22 with the GM barrel on it.

This is my good friend Suupa Taav's rifle ... I've shot it and it's a blast ... love the KIDD trigger ... :D

Very nice build, but out of all the mods, I think you are missing the most important, the volq exact edge extractor, no point of having a nice gun if it doesnt work properly (atleast in my case, every 2nd round jammed with multiple types of ammo) that solved everything.

KEEP US POSTED WITH THE GREAT WORK!

Awesome..I have a GM brl too. Puts them in a quarter ($.25) at 75m. Prolly great at 100m but I can't see in detail that far!

Excellent build!

yep. don't listen to people telling you its a waste of money. it makes a difference. I picked one up, and it solved alot of problems.

I never said the mods were a waste, I said if it was not working it would be a waste. I am not saying every 10/22 has ejecting issues, I just had poor luck with both of mine and the exact edge extractor solved every possible jamming issue!

One of my 10/22's works flawlessly with the factory extractor. I had a VQ exact edge extractor lying around so I thought I'd install it, but it wouldn't fit properly in the bolt. So I popped the factory one back there.

My other 10/22's needed the VQ extractor or else they stove piped even when brand new and clean.

So, yes, for some reason some factory extractors work well and most of the other time you need to retroft the VQ.

Hi. the Kidd receiver had the the extractor, and the firing pin already installed, fired about a brick of wildcats with no problem. The receiver was acid cleaned and the anodized, then painted with automotive paint. As for the mag release i love it,just slide you finger under and it just falls out.

Suup-Taav ... told you we gotta get up some target pics for here ... once the weather clears up let's go hit the range as I love shooting that little fugger ... love that KIDD trigger. :D
