I shot the standard R1 at DVC and really liked the way it shot and felt and the amazing accuracy... of a well used rental gun. Secondly, I wanted a little flare but not over done. Made in the USA by a brand that used to make them for the war effort. And decent value and build quality. Little bit of impulse i will admit too.

At the store I was trying to decide between this and the Kimber TLE. The Kimber is an super sweet 1911, but I dunno if it was worth $400 more minus a 7 round mag, rubber grips, and a plastic main spring housing... The Enhanced has 2 eight round very good quality mags and metal main spring housing. match grade barrel and trigger. Plus this will be my regular shooter.

Eventually I will have a few more in my collection but pickings are slim around town.

Sig-Sauer Scorpion. Planning my first range test tomorrow.
It was somewhat of an impulse purchase for me.
I really like the feel of the grips. The trigger break is nice too.

The R1 Enhanced certainly is a looker. Reliable is a great shop to deal with. 400 bucks more for a Kimber with less mags would be hard to justify.

Same here, being shooting my Scorpion since around XMas. Accurate with a nice trigger break.

Glock 21 Gen 4 finally arrived this morning, just got back from POCO trying it out, luv it. Nice clean recoil, usual sh!tty Glock trigger but can fix that easily. Wish I could shot 1911 as well as the Glock.

Sweet, I could have bought a Sig Nitron with a Rail, but I hesitated and missed it by a day. Oh well, gun shopping is like women at bars, their will always be something hotter that walks in
