I have been trying to read over as many threads as I could in the pistol threads. I am looking into a .22 pistol and I think the options of either a Browning Buckmark, a Ruger Mk111 or a S&W 22A all seem like fair choices value wise.

Are they good choices for people with mid to large size hands though?

I have a size 13 hand and have a Ruger MKIII with Hogue grips. Couldn't be more of a perfect fit.

all three of those will fit you well. My hands are on bigger side and I never had problems with either one of them. There is only one pistol that has way too small grip for me - Walther P22. But hey, that was my favorite little plinker.

I know it's not on your list, but so you know... I have a Ruger MarkIII 22/45 and it is feels much smaller than my S&W M&P9 that has the small palmswells installed. I'm really hoping Hogue will be making a grip for this version that are similar to the non-22/45 version they make. I'm thinking about trying their Handall Full Size Grip Sleeve to see if it works with it.
