After shooting skeet at the orillia gun club i finally have done it , i didnt even see it coming either , after shooting for 5 months almost every sunday and wednesday, i now am faced with a bigger problem , 50, or even 100 straight now thats more to worry about then just the 25 , thanks to all who support me in my efforts i.e the good folks at the orillia gun club as well as my coach my father and i look forward to the ontario open in a weeks time

nice going. I don't shoot skeet, but I enjoy occasional trapshooting, and my first 25 straight was definitely a highlight. I don't recall that particular day, but it was one of many more to follow. I recall my first 50 straight in handicap, and also my first 75 and 100 in singles.
congrats.

Congratulations!

I'm a little behind that goal still, but I did make my personal best of 19 today at 5-stand. I'm pretty happy since it's only my second day of shooting clays.

Of course, I did it on a borrowed Beretta O/U (what a beauty to shoot), so now I'm gonna have to start saving up... ;)

I don't know about your club, but at our club, when you are on a run of 75 straight, don't wear your favorite cap for the next round, unless you want it air conditioned.:D

Thanks to all for the support, i look forward to meeting everyone online here who is going to be in the ontario open this weekend , you cant miss me im a 22 year old wearing a green vest, i look forward to trying doubles and i am shooting in the 62 shoot on friday, see you all there, and thanks again for the kind words

Congratulations! I just shot skeet for the first time last week. Definitely fun and I can definitely appreciate your accomplishment.

Nice shooting, kid!

I haven't shot skeet in years. And now that they've shut down the NASA range on 50th street, I don;t know where I could go to shoot skeet or trap.

Good shooting ... now get at it - working towards the next milestone !

...and keep both feet firmly planted on the ground... even with 100 straights,
coffee at Timmy's on the way home is still $ 1.25 ;)

Congratulations! Hope you get that 50 soon -- and remember shoot/concentrate/focus on each clay at a time. Don't think about the last station or the next. Btw at my club, it's a tradition to have your hat shot whenyou break your 1st 25 straight.
"Keep your powder dry and lead em well"
Cheers, John

Congradulations on your first "25"...you will find that they come a little easier now that you have done it once. Your "50" pin will follow soon..well done
