I don't want this to sound like the 'I'm looking to buy my first shotgun and am looking for advice'
post - we have all answered these several dozen times before. I am looking for a 9mm because it is inexpensive to shoot, one can shoot it all day w/o fatigue, and for new shooters I bring out it will not scare the crap out of them like a .45ACP - which as an FYI will likely be my second pistol (Springfield 1911)
I am asking for some suggestions and opinions on anything I may have overlooked for my first 9mm pistol - I have looked (and shot the following)
- Beretta 92F (Stainless beauty from a fellow CGN'er....so you opinion means squat)
- Glock 17
- Browning Hi Power - my first love but some a-hole will not part with it!
- Sig 226
An I missing anything here. So far they all seem to be within the same price range, and other then personal reference all seem like high quality pistols.
Thanks in advance,
John
