I haven't bought a gun for 4 years so i figured it was about time. I know i wanted a railed, 9mm with night/fiber optic sites,steel/alloy frame and that i wanted quality. So i narrowed it down to three different pistols.

1) Sig 226
2)Beretta 92/A1
3)CZ shadow

All fine firearms in their own right no matter what anybody personal bias maybe.

After alot of research i decided on the Sig 226 Tacops. At first i was a lil weary of that particular model because all my research I'd done said that the mags were garbage. So when i went to my local gun shop i was pleasantly
surprised that the Canadian version didnt come with the extended mags. (Dont get me wrong I knew i wasn't getting the 20 round mags) i thought i was gonna get that mag with a pin at ten rounds like a 5/30 AR mag or a 10/30 LAR mag ;).

The gun does feature; rear night site, front fiber optic truglow site. Sigs SRT short recessed trigger, nitron finish 4 factory mags and a oversized polymer grip that chases into a mag well (which works quite well for my large hands). A bevertail frame which seems to strike mixed emotions in some. Seeing that my "main shooter" is a Colt 1911. It was a familiar comforting feel.

Total cost taxes in $1412.00 plus funds for ammo of course.

Just waiting for the ATT to come in then im off to the range.

All three would be nice. Ill probably end up with the Beretta at some point. Always wanted one. Ill probably go classic FS. Now that i already have a railed 9mm

for the money, i think the cz and beretta are the best bang for the buck....i side with the cz shadow because i own one...It has a beautiful trigger and is built like a tank...
