First African Safari

African update... Well I just got back from Namibia on Friday. To sum it up in one word... AWESOME!!!

It was such a great experience we have re-booked for April 2015. Even the wives had a great time as the

lodge owners took great care of them when we where hunting.

We where there for 10 days and it was a non stop adventure. Well nine days for me. In the middle of the hunt

I ended up with a gastric virus that put me in bed and on the toilet for a day. There where four hunters, and I was the only one in the group

who didn't fill his wish list. I did get my top three though. I shot my Kudu, Red Hartebeest, and Oryx. I didn't get the Hartmann Zebra, or the warthog.

If somebody can let me know how to post picture, I will post pictures of the animals I shot.

If you have any questions about my safari feel free to ask.

In the middle of the hunt

For that reason right there I won't travel without taking Dukoral. It has saved me many times from nasty stomach bugs.

Can't wait to see the pics and glad to hear your hunt was a success!

Thanks Jay... The photo's will be a long shortly.
I took all of the precautions, including taking Dukoral. I guess it was just one of those things that wasn't avoid able.

Wow, those are some awesome critters...congrats! I think the hartebeest is the most underrated trophy in Namibia!

Nice glad you enjoyed it. I'm heading to RSA in 2 weeks for Cape Buffalo. Doing Namibia next year for free range plains game. 2015 for leopard in Namibia.

Nice pics. To post the pictures directly in your post, click on an image so you have it enlarged, then on the right hand side you'll see the "links to share this photo". Use the "IMG" link and just copy/past it into your post. You'll have to do this for each image.

Going to help you out with posting to the thread.

Demonical... I know the hunt report was a little short... I'm just not much of a writer. Ask me any questions about the hunt, and I will answer them.
