I was not bashing the AR when I said it was dirty. I simply meant it is dirtier than other platforms that I shoot. Maybe I worded it wrong, but it was an observation, not a slam or an insult.

In fact I love this thing. It's my first AR but I guarantee it won't be my last.

You are correct the DI system does foul the action more then other semis.

I got mine from Reliable Gun but it looks like they are out of stock.

Thank you for ID'ing that hand guard. I must acquire one. I will search around for one. I guess the key words are "Carbine Length" when looking for one that's simply drop in. I dont want to mess with the front post.
