Just came home and had a surprise waiting. Have some noob questions though....I'll ask with pics.

Here she is...LE M15A4. so....1st question: Whats the diff between the "LE" and a non "LE" M15?

Next: Whats up with this proof? It jumps right out at me every time I look at the gun...should I be concerned?

Next: Who made this mag?

Last: Are all AR stock triggers this long/gritty? Not bashing, just curious.

the LE is the carbine version, the non LE is the 20 inch

looks like bad castings. nothing to worry about. US seems to ship alot of not-quite 100% stuff north.

Next: Who made this mag?

NHMTG is OKAY Industries. USGI supplier. good mags.

keep shooting. it will get better, or just by a better trigger. i suggest you just get used to it for now.

Probably just your camera or packing grease on your AR but it looks like you have a ton of rust on your ejection port cover and your forward assist.

Yup, sticky grease....like the title said, it was right out of the box!

I'll get it torn down and cleaned up this weekend.

Sweet! Welcome to the black rifle club! Shame you live on the other side of the country, Brock at Hunter's does awesome trigger jobs on ARs. I have had all of mine done by him and they are smooth and break like a glass rod.
