One thought I had today--did you take the picture at full size and then reduce the dimensions for posting, or did you take the picture at the size that was posted? I find that all digital photos have some level of noise, and if you take the picture at full size and then reduce the dimensions for posting it reduces the appearance of the noise.

Yeah, significantly reduced. I took it at a ludicrous 3264 x 2448.

Next time.....don't use a Steyr.

If you have manual exposure compensation available on your camera, try shots at +1 or +2 EV when photographing against a white background - The camera's auto-exposure tries to make 18% "grey" out of the white, unless you tell it otherwise.

But otherwise, I like it!

Yeah, that was actually on manual exposure. I was focusing more on getting the right colour of the gun (should've brightened the white in PS afterward, though, to be sure).
