First attempt at Jerky

Drying as we speak, I used soy, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, liquid smoke hickory flavour and some spices. Hope it tastes good cause cause the wife is ready to kill me with all the smell!

I hope that's a self cleaning oven, otherwise your wife is going to complain about more than just the smell. Let us kow how it turns out.

Keep an eye on it....it's kind of like bacon, by the time it looks right, it's over done.

Well it`s all done and some consumed. Verdict is a little to dry and a little to salty, next batch I will cut down the dry time to maybe 11hrs and probably half the salt. But other then that still tasty!
