first attempt reloading 223/5.56 is this normal?

hi all, just wondering if this is normal or if i may blowup my AR if i try to shoot it, i'm reloading 1F norc 556 brass, SP, trimmed to 1.76, 20gr of H4198, there sure doesnt look like theres gona be any space between the powder & base of the bullet (50gr) once its seated, wish i could post pics, i'm guessing i'll probobly hear the bullet crunching down on the powder, am i right that something has gone wrong somewhere or this normal?
 
In your manual does it mention it being a compressed load?
Always make sure you start low and work up looking for pressure signs as you go. With 556 brass there is slightly less space than regular 223.

Try using a long drop tube to dump the powder into the case. As you climb in powder charge, it will allow more room for the bullet as it will help settle the powder on the initial throw.
