I already have this stuff at home and use it for many jobs, just wonder, in order to intend my first bedding job, if it can do the job corectly.... (bedding a Win 70 in .270)

Body filler has no fibreglass in it. You'd be better off buying an Acraglas kit for your first bedding job. The box has detailed instructions on how to do it.

Bondo Definitely not suitable for a gun bedding job.
If you want to use something you can get locally in Canada, first time you do it. look for DEvcon steel. and use Johsnon paste wax as a release agent.

otherwise brownells acragel is what you really want to work with first time around.
 
Bondo is soft, made for easy sanding. Bondo is not water proof, it is polyester based, it will absorb moisture and eventually seperate from wood after repeated soakings. Does not stick well to plastic.

The Brownells kit will do a few guns & has everything in it & is not that expensive!
