first Big Bull mooose draw

Premium bullets are cheap insurance for less than perfect shot presentation. While a 140 Hornady might do the trick under optimum broadside presentation, a 140 Partition gives you more wiggle room for facing, quartering, or shots through the shoulder. Definitely worth a few bucks more.

well I just got back from the family wedding in Red Deer

I hit both wholesales in Edmonton ....no 6.5 bullets no powder that I would use in the 6.5 but I did get a couple of 30 cal. boxes (I do hunt with a 30-06 )

I got the Varget at Cabalas and the Barns TSX. ( bought all they had ) yes the Varget wasn't my first choice but it will do the job

the bullets I got are light 125gr in Nosler and 130 in Barns .....but they will work for deer and start use on the way to more shooting

we went to Cross Iron mall /Bass pro Friday ...what a store ...there powder case was full till I asked the guys behind the counter and all the price tags that where flipped down were not in stock ...they had 4 powders ......no 6.5 in stock ...did find a nice pair of Gore-Tex pants on sale so really not a waste of time ...lol..

I will keep looking around till Sept 10 see what I come up with she might just have to use my 06
