First big game....and a dandy!

This family, BTW, had never hunted at all, until five years ago. We introduced normahn to shooting, and my wife and I took him and his wife on a Spring bear hunt. Now, both of them, three of their kids, two friends of the kids, and the mother of one of the kid's friends have taken up hunting!

Wow, that is great! Good on ya'! :)

If you don't stop posting those pictures I will post a picture of Hwy 400 at the 401. Great country, shooting, animal and great big smile.

Had dinner with this family tonight, and we were recounting this hunt. The young lady now has her own rifle, and they are talking about getting out on a hunt for woods bison!

Stay tuned.....

Good job!

What's that on the tip of the antler? Did they shoot one of the specially trained garbage picking caribou they have up there?

She shot a caribou doing public service?? :p;)

Seriously though, congratulations to her. Shes obviously not a sissy to be hunting in that weather and that is a beautiful animal that will be enjoyed by the family for many nights at the table. First class. :D
