I have looked around online. Seem to go from 400-500ish for a used axion 305. Brand new the kit is 559+tax local. I'm lucky I'm not in a rush to buy so I can wait out for a good deal to pop up.

I boiled and scraped the skull. Now I have to find the thread on mounting it. I may just buy a kit to keep it simple.

First deer is always a RUSH, at least it was for me and I still remember it like it was yesterday and it was 18 years ago!

Cheap and easy way to do your skull, skin it and bury it in the flower bed, dig it up next fall and it will be hollowed out and clean as a whistle! I did my last buck like this, it was only a fork horn but I still wanted to keep it.
