Rifle started life as a Parker Hale sporter, now sports a 24" Heym heavy match barrel, too many hours in the trigger to think about, glass bedded, pillar bedded, free floated, scope is a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5X16X42 Mildot, all parts are cerakoated sniper grey except the bolt which is carbon black. stock is original PH wood unit modified and painted with textured finish. Rifle shoots much better than it has any right too. Welcome all questions and comments.

90% of it I did myself, the barrel was installed by a machinist friend of mine he also fabricated the bolt knob. The rest was a lot of research and trial and error

Heym makes incredible hunting rifles that look beautiful (check out some of their big bore side-by-sides ...Heymusa.com as I recall)

Their barrels are field grade hammer forged and (I believe thay are lapped too) barrels - some can be match accurate - but they are not designed or marketed as match grade. You will never find Heym barrel on a purpose-built TR, F-Class or Benchrest rifle.

I am sure it will be more accurate than the original factory barrel, but it was not designed for match shooting
