First coyote of the season is down :)

Congrats. Always enjoy your posts, especially the detailed descriptions (with pics!) of your setup and how it transpired.

Curious why you chose to face upwind on this stand? (Or maybe it was actually cross wind? in which case no explanation necessary)

(Goes to show - yet again - that they are not perfectly predictable).

Behind me would have been the farm house and barn....Big bush in front and to my left...so setup with wind is in my face because percentage wise the coyote would have come from my left exposing themselves well before I get busted....

Makes good sense. Every spot is different. :)
