Wow...

So here I am sick as a dog with a cold .. a gracious member of EESA called me up on friday and let me come out to his place to pick up my very first club ATT.

So what does a little sick kid do on a sunday morning, he goes out and shoots 100 rds of 9mm!!! :D

Dont think i'm going to be winning any awards anytime soon  The pistol shoots straight and true, rest assured the accuracy problem lies with the operator ;) I am amazed actually that the factory sights seem to be bang on with no adjustment needed.

I used mine right out of the box, no harm done either way. Great pistol, never hicupped and easy to shoot well.

I have the same accuracy issue with mine. Definetly the operator in my case. I had one of the better shooters in our club try it and he was spot on. Some of the problem may lie with your choice of backstrap. I had the smallest backstrap mounted because I felt my hand wrapped around it better. This may not have been the best choice for control, however. I'll be returning to the club with the medium one installed. A small change in geometry often has a large effect on control and aim.

I'm also have small backstrap installed...btw here's mine

If this IM LUGGER guy keeps showing off his pistol, I might be forced to finish mine the same way! Come to think of it, that would take care of the marks left by the 'smith.:dancingbanana:

I don't think 100 rounds would kill the m&p without lube outta the box. The only reason I lubed mine when I got it is because I'm a nerd and have to rip everything apart to see how it works before I use it.. LOL

Love my M&P, I'm sure you will too!

IM Luger, you trying to be a hand model or something? :D

I sent for my rebate during the third week in January. S&W processed mine Feb 7 and the two mags arrived today. Rebate cheque is in the mail.

I have about 300 rds through mine now. Gun is a shooter out to 25 yards. After that, well it is no rifle. At 50 yards targets remain virgin. I think for shooting IDPA and IPSC my gun will be a great choice. I am going to try some targets at 35 yards (Washington State IDPA matches often have a Standard exercise whre you are shooting out to 35 yards). Would be nice to hit somewhere on the target.

Overall I am very happy with the gun. It may never replace my Tanfoglio or STI Trojan for IDPA ESP but definitely a shooter.

Take Care

Bob

+1 to that hehe .. I think i stripped it and cleaned it about 15 times over the 2 months i had to wait for my ATT class and the paperwork to go through! You can see why I was so excited to finally get out and shoot the darn thing!!!

I also picked up some snap caps and practise trigger control while watching tv... Call me crazy, but the trigger seems to be smoothing out a small amount after practising the trigger so much.
