So not something i would shop for Down under, but something ive heard Alot of, so when i was gifted a couple dozen of them .358 in 250gr from an ol timer who passed away an his ol huntin mates thought of Me.. as im also previously on anoher aussie forum under the same name-
So cheers to Optic, with the 30-06 out of action for a few more days until replacement magazine arrives, meat was in short supply and i set about a sambar hunt the other morning to no avail, so hit the fringe country on farmland for a fallow... typically a bit more habitual.

anyway, a bit of a stalk and 2 shots later.

The load is, 52gr of Varget afaik... so a pretty relaxed loading.. good for close bush hunting i will say
my Ruger an terra combo

Good work, leaving next week for 8 days looking for moose! Looks like I will be taking the 9.3x62 Ruger no1 again this year!!

I've shot a semi-truck load of deer, bear and moose with .358 250 Partitions... I regard them highly, never had a failure of any sort.

Sweet… damn they’re tiny little things, could have shot them with a 22 lol!
