Well, I got pretty bored tonight and I have never stripped the lower completely down on my AR 15 (only owned it for a couple months)
Anyways, overall it went pretty good considering I had no instructions. Twice I zigged when I should of zagged but overall it was a good learning experience.
The two things I missed?
1) I didn't know removing the grip would drop the retaining pin for the safety selector. I kinda just forced it out, it didn't really take that much force, but would of been easier if I had done it right.
2) I didn't know that unscrewing the mag release would slam the button so hard into my knuckle....For a minute there I thought I broke my finger
Overall, its pretty decent, the pins used to retain the bolt lock lever and the trigger guard can be pretty difficult, but not with the right tools I've found.
