First ducks of the season

Two nice teals from one of my dugouts this evening. 20 gauge two with one shot. Going for some geese in the morning.

Congrats! Those little teals are great to eat. I usually pluck them and roasted in the oven, stuffed with apple and onions.

My wife’s the cook, the ducks are for her. She asked me to get her a few. I plucked them and cleaned them. She normally roasts them in the over but never with apples I will mention that to her. Duck is far from my favourite thing to eat.
