First fire issues with SKS. - Gas Tube?

So yes, it was the chinese gas tube. I went to Silverdale today with the original gas tube, and I fired and it cycled properly :)
So I'm going to return the chinese tube and use the store credit for something else. :)
 
you may be getting blow by in the "possibly cheapo gas tube". You may also be having a recoil spring/rod issue. Make sure its not causing any undo hang ups chewing into your bolt return energy.

Third, try out your gun with the original gas tube obviously and see how she cycles.
