First gen CZ-75

This one I posted on the other CZ75 topic:

Im pretty happy with mine. No issues.

Its also seems to be on the rare side apparently.. No matter - its a great pistol to fire.

Ive the trigger pull down to 3.5lbs and it shoots straight as per the target below.

After owning several different of the then available "double stack" 9mm pistolas back in the day. Mainly S&W offerings & early Beretta 92's, I picked up my first CZ75 circa 1987. I was immediately impressed with the way it fit my hand & shot for me. Owned a couple more back in the day, too. In fact only sold off my last one when I acquired a BHP MkIII in the early 90's.

The CZ75/85 series of pistols are very cool!

I owned a matt blued CZ 75 manufactured in 1988. After 12 years of investing a lot of money trying desparately to make it shoot, I gave up.
Today I own a CZ 75 Shadow, a Target Sport and a CZ 97b, and I can tell you, todays CZs are of much, much, much better quality, fit and finish than any Pre b guns.

I've seen a couple around, nowhere near as many of those as the later ones out there, but there was one sold locally (Victoria) over the summer and it wasn't terribly expensive for a gun in excellent condition.
One like this just sold at shooters choice in Kitchener for less then 600...525 i think

CZ's of that vintage frequently came from the factory with a barrel bored to .356-.357, that's frequently the cause of accuracy issues.
