And the new MR223 actually comes with the old manual. I cannot order parts based on the old manual now.

Is the BCG the 416 one that is FA?

i thought the same thing as well... my biggest concern would be that now H&K Germany is in full production with the A1's, i wonder how hard it will be to get replacement parts for rifles with the old style pin placement!!!! yikes

Just buy another MR223A1. If you can afford one without any guilt, you can afford two.

Willing to bet no. Even the USA MR556A1 does not have an FA BCG and has tabs on the receiver to prevent insertion of an HK416 BCG
