First hand loads - won't fire???

you can also put stand the brass upright in a bullet tray that does not have a solid bottom and place them over a furnace vent for drying. I do this with 45acp when I want to speed up the drying time.

Or, if you want to load this weekend, just skip all that tumbling/fuss, and just wipe the cases with a soft cloth - maybe a micro-fibre cloth - to get the grit off them. Unless you are ejecting cases onto the ground, or a filthy bench top, there shoudn't be any grit to start with.

Then shoot today, load tonight, shoot tomorrow. Shoot, don't make jewelry.

I have a tumbler, and I use it to make nice, but if the brass I want to shoot tomorrow is dirty today, I just loads it. In forty years, I have yet to scratch the inside of a die.
