Received my new Sig P220 Extreme in .45acp yesterday.
Looking forward to getting out to the range sometime soon as soon as the paperwork comes in.
Have 1000 rounds here of PMC Bronze to start with.
Also received my Fabarm STF12 with 11" barrel on the same day.

Great choice. Love the P220s.

Agree, I've tried a few different .45 ACPs, but the Sig P220s are all I have left. Even gave up on shooting a 1911 properly, just doesn't fit my hand like a P220. Sacrilege, I know, but true. The extreme is nice with the G10s on them, I've switched half of my Sigs over to those grips.

Nice! That is a really nice pair! I didn't know that the 220 came in an "Extreme" model—I had a P226 Extreme that I really liked. The Fabarm looks great, too—I really like the look of that model. They make a well-matched set!

I want to get some new grips...just because. :D

I noticed the Extreme version is not too common. Not much about it on the web from what I seen.
It was another reason why I went with it.
The other was it was hard to find something I liked that dealers had stock of and I didn't need to buy off the shelf that other people were handling and playing with.

The slide release(not sure if that's the proper name) is real hard to push down though. Going to have to do some thumb exercises to strengthen up. lol

Ya, nice choice.

Watch that you don't ride your thumb on the slide release. If you wonder why your slide wont stay open after the last round, that means you're doing it...

I like most of what I see at Wanstalls and I like that they're on my side of the Fraser Valley. However, they didn't want to price match last month when I bought my Shadow, and for the $130 price difference, I rather drove to Vancouver to pick it up.

It might just need some using. My fmk was really stiff at first, but after being used a few hundred times its much easier.
