Congrats, now you just need to buy ammo..... lots and lots of ammo! I'm looking at a poly frame 9mm right now and I'm having to do the dreaded, "Glock vs MP9" debate daily until I've got the money saved. Decisions, decisions.

This was my first handgun as well!!!

But after I shot the Glock 17 and seen the groupings I sold it right away.

Very nice. My buddies first gun was an M&P 9mm which he picked up last year and I ended up getting the Glock.

Gun works really well in IDPA SSP Division as well as ESP. You will like the stubby mags, makes for very fast reloads. Try the mag release on the right side of you are right handed. You may find it far easier to do mag changes by engaging the mag release with your trigger finger.

You can store ammo with your pistol if its in a SAFE. And even then the ammo can't be in the gun.

Actually, you can store your ammo with the gun if it is in a locked container...doesn't need to be a safe! The same container used for transport will suffice for storager also....

• Unload and lock your firearms!
• Store the ammunition separately or lock it up. It can be stored in the same locked container as the firearm.
