What a great deer! And, a great hunt.

You did everything right. Both waiting and moving until you knew you were within your ability to have a clean kill was a very smart move.

Patience is a virtue when hunting.... always! Many times, animals will practically deliver themselves if one waits......

Congrats on a nice Manitoba buck.

Thank you Marty, yours is a beauty as well. Over the last couple years I'm starting to see some really nice ones in the area! I had a nice big 8 point on my trail camera, but the cattle owner who rents that field moved his cattle across the creek and into where I had planned to set up. oh well, glad I went where I did.
