First look. GHM9 Glock Lower. (Large pics), 10/33 round mag pics added

I just don't know why B&T designed the angle of the magazine well like that. It's opposite the more natural angle of the standard magwell, and opposite a standard Glock 17 magazine, but I guess it matches the +2 floorplate on 33rd magazines? I don't know. It kind of throws the whole aesthetic off for me. Not a huge complaint, admittedly.

It looks spectacular otherwise!

And far away,

In Alberta,

On Valentine's day,

Not a sound was to be heard,

Around the house,

Other than,

Megan...

Say hello to my little mouse!

Hahahaha. My fingers are crossed for you that you gets yours soon as possible. I’m going to try and make it out to the range this Saturday. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get in with the snow we have plus the extra 5-10cm in the forcast for tomorrow.

I’ll have the KCI 33 rounder, thr SGM mag that came with it, an OEM Glock 17 mag and a Magpul mag to try out. I notice that the barrel still has its original has “M4” style feed ramps. Dual ramps, for the original SMG mag that is double stack double feed. Now that the Glock mag is double stack necked down to single feed, I’m curious if the ramps will cause any issues. I doubt they will. The mag seams to sit fairly high up in the action. The bottom of the bolt will for sure be putting pressure on the top round in the mag as it cycles across it. I expect that if I have a mag that is super hard to get the 10th round in, inserting it on a closed both will be difficult.

I thought the, same thing until I got it. It still looks like a weird angle until you pick it up and hold it. Even with my small hands when holding the handguard I maybe have a 1/2 inch before the end of the barrel so you immediately grab the magwell which has a perfect angle for holding it. It feels like holding an ar15 with a Magpul angled foregrip. So it was probably done for function more than form.
