Savage Arms has teamed up with Magpul to pair a premium aftermarket stock with Savage’s proven 110 action. The combination mates Savage’s reputation for accuracy with Magpul’s renowned versatility to create a Model 110 that’s ideal for any hunter or shooter.

Savage 110 Magpul Hunter Bolt-Action Rifle

The 110 Magpul Hunter combines decades of 110 innovations. At the heart of the rifle is a factory blueprinted action with an 18-inch threaded heavy barrel. The Cerakote Tungsten finish prevents corrosion and exposure to the elements. The knurled bolt handle, adjustable length of pull and comb height options from Magpul round out ergonomic improvements to this Model 110. Those features, paired with the user-adjustable AccuTrigger, allow for crisp, clean shots and Savage’s proven accuracy. It will be available in both left and right-handed configurations.

“Magpul builds incredible accessories,” said Jessica Treglia, Savage Arms Sr. Brand Manager. “Their Hunter Stocks are a solid compliment for the versatility of the 110 action and barrel. But this is much more than an aftermarket stock. We’ve designed a 110 with a heavy barrel and durable coatings that match the look and feel of the Magpul Hunter stocks.”

Maybe it”s just me, but the Stock to barrel lengths look disproportionate and kinda take away from the over-all look.

That stock is adjustable with spacers, and is at full LOP. I would rather have my rifle fit me properly than the "overall look" just me.

Interesting, so this marks the 3rd Magpul Hunter platform after the Remington 700 and Ruger American?

I just bought a Ruger American Hunter and love it, im liking the 18 inch barrel listed here on the Savage. I wonder what this will weigh?

I understood that, just the individual size of both seemed to look odd to me. Just don’t get the latest SB Hunting rig fad, guess I’m more of a classic hunting rig type..

Barrel says heavy but doesn't really look heavy profile. I have 2 Rem 700's with the 16.5" heavy barrels and it looks much different. I like these stocks...for the price of them, hopefully Magpul releases the stocks seperate for the Savage series, may pick one up. I ditch the cheek risers on mine and go with zero rise inserts, I find even the lowest .25" too high for my liking.

They're selling the stock separately and I'm tempted to grab one for my 110 Scout if the weight difference isn't too drastic. Having side mounts for a sling would open up more options for comfortable carry positions.
