First Mulie Season

Finally entered the draw this year, pretty happy with the results. Dropped an "antlerless" with a muzzleloader a few weeks ago, and last weekend shot a doe on Saturday and a buck on Sunday with my .270 (last day for bucks in the season).

Nothing but tag soup the last two years, so I'm happy to end the streak.

No record breaker, but he's kind of a weirdo.

I think my "movember" cookie duster is a major contributor to filling the tags, gotta get my whitetail hunting out of the way before Dec. 1, cause my wife said she's going to shave it while I sleep.

I personally think he is a great trophy. As your first no other deer will ever come close. He has a lot of character and those dark antlers are very very nice. Treasure the memories and keep those antlers on display. Well done>

That is one awesome set of antlers. You better put them on the wall. I actually thought the pictures were from the seventies until you mentioned the movember thing. lol

That is a really nice looking buck. I love the dark colour of the antlers. Not the widest spread, but good height and an odd formation. A great first buck. Congrats.

Nope, that's me in 2010. I'm a 35 year old movember-bandwagon-jumper . As for the antlers, I'm going to try european mounting them myself. Got two others to do for buddies as well. Maybe I'll try theirs first.
