So I finally picked up my new pistol and thought I'd show it off. Heading to the range tomorrow to try it out. It's a CZ75b Omega

The box...

Inside the box...

Manuals and Instructional DVD...

Stripped...that take down pin is super tight!!

Sitting with it's new safe mates...

A Browning Buckmark and Ruger P90 that I purchased off of a friend of mine. Both are great shooters, the Buckmark suffers from the loose screw syndrome across the top bridge. The rear sight also needs a new roll pin, it slips out after running through a magazine.

Some Blue loctite will take care of that: a tip put a little line of it on the screw and let it dry for awhile then screw it in it will hold better.

Thanks! I have read about the ergo's on a Cz 75 and how they fit in the hand, can't get over how good the CZ fits. I checked out the P07 and a few other 9mm's but the 75b fit like a glove.

What a coincidence - a CZ 75 was my third handgun, too. Maybe they could come up with a slogan: "We might not be your first, but you'll eventually get one!"
Seeing this has made me decide to take a quick run out to the range again today, to give it some fresh air and exercise....

(And, having come from using a 1911, I'll agree the slide stop pin on the CZ was tighter than I expected it to be. No "idiot scratches" when putting this one back in, though.... yet.....)

Happy shooting Trav! Just about to head out here ourselves! Going by the manual's suggestion, using the bottom of one of the mags to start the slide stop pin worked well. The guy at the shop has fingers of steel. He pushed the pin out effortlessly!

It ran flawlessly! Very smooth trigger. The recoil felt like it went straight back with very little muzzle flip. My wife put a few mags through it as well and also enjoyed the feel of it. She despises my .45. I'm going to look around for a Hogue slip on for the Ruger.
