Hey guys
So I just passed the hunter education course and I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to get the hunting licence outdoor card . It seems all the Service Ontarios that issue them are only open 8:30 to 5pm for all of southern Ontario and I work then. Does anyone know a way to get it on the weekend or If I got a friend or family member to go during the week for me? I guess I'm sitting on hold again tomorrow with them.

Go to your local canadian tire or hardware store some sell lic thy will print you a temp card and the real one will come in the mail.

No, you must present those papers to the service Ontario . Some open on week ends, they could do that.

Or send in some of your friends, they can get it done for you, just hand in $11.45 , you get in mail.

Taken from MNR website. I take it that your first hunting outdoor card has to be done in person at a service Ontario centre.

From this site you may:
Purchase your Ontario hunting and fishing licences or your first fishing Outdoors Card.
Renew an existing Hunting or Fishing Outdoors Card.
Apply to big game draws.
Check your draw results.
Submit your Hunter Activity/Harvest report.

There's GOT to be a Service Ontario centre that's open on Saturdays or weekdays evenings somewhere in your area... the ones in the shopping centres often follow store hours.

I remember having to go to city hall in ottawa. No other service ontario in the city had the right "access". I must have sat there for almost 2 hours waiting for my number. Thank god all my paperwork was in order. While i was at the counter the computer crashed on the lady working with me. It was also her last day before a month of vacation so i figured this wont end well for me today. Luckily she managed to get it done and a confirmation number for me. I didnt need it because a few weeks later it arrived in the mail. So glad i dont have to do that again. What a stupid system to only allow very few outlets access to this type of thing.

i had been told that you could give that yellow piece of paper from OHEP to any customer service person at crappy tire and they would fill the necessary stuffs out to get your outdoors card
