Thats a really great looking rifle. First time I have seen the A3-5. Are you running this with the internal blind mag?
McMillan lists the A3 as a "lighter" stock. I am looking for a solid (read heavy- less recoil) stock for an unbraked 300 win mag project. Its a nice looking stock but the "lighter" description has me wondering. Any thoughts?
 
WarrenB, the stock seems pretty "heavy". I haven't fired it yet, but the smith did to see how his new style Brake works. He said it felt like a 25-06 with 225 gr bullets.

Cost w/o scope was $2200.00

Hey Sean, have you got a trigger guard!!! Seems I am short one piece LOL, Bob Bodged me a plastic one to get me by for now!

I am using the blind mag. I have a score high single shot follower in it because the heavy bullets are to long for the mag.

Juan Valdez, from North shore Barrels, (see 2 posts up) did it up. I bought the action from him and he had already put in the trigger and did the bolt knob.
