First Pistol gen1 g17

So im looking at getting a generation 1, glock 17 9mm for my first pistol.


INFO:

-round count 10,000 (but read on!)
-trigicon's
-internal guide rod laser pointer
-from a trusted Police officer friend
-hes a certified glock armorer (so maintenance has been top notch)
-magnesium guide rod? (whatever that is...helps recoil)(not installed)
-extra mags
-modded internals
-he also takes it to his police armorer guy who is top level glock certified as well

Questions:

-Price?
-Is 10,000 round count high? for a meticulously maintained g17?
-if the barrel eventually craps out, can i replace it cheap enough?
-what else would i have to worry about?

He said i dont have to worry about a thing, and of course he will do any fixing for me and can hookup parts and such.

but realistically is 10k round count too high? or is that nothing for a g17.

im just using it for targets and plinking.

I know g1 vs g2 vs g3, not too concerned there...

10,000 rnds is not much at all on a Glock.Yes you can put in a new barel if you want.
What are you paying for it?I know there is alot of upgrades on it but if you are paying close to what a new basic g17 cost i would go new.
 
That's a great deal. The first gen G17 is "the one that started it all" and my personal favorite version of Glock. It's real modern day classic!
 
my bad, your right 621 tax included + shipping

you can get them locally for 700 tax in..
even 599 + tax and ship will be near 700 anyways

L.E./gssf price at Police Ordnance will beat all of the above prices (for new ones) and you always get 3 mags. Great to deal with to boot.

ill see what he says and let you guys know. if not, maybe he can buy from police ord for me? and just transfer right after? is that legit?

btw the g17 from sporteque is 570 to my door! thats bloody good.
$130 less than anywhere else...

Yes, good deal, i bought an OD G17 from Sporteque and it was the all made in Austria model with Austria proof mark and 3 mags instead of the stupid cable lock.
