Hi looking for a little help. I want to get a semi pistol in 9, .40, or 45 acp. The question is what pistols have 22 cal conversions available for them. Wouldn't mind being able to do lots of cheap shooting out of the same platform.

Thanks for your time

Glock 17 in 9mm, or glock 22 in 40cal, you can buy 22 kits for them. As well as sigs and others. My advice, buy two guns, one being a .22, just to break up shooting the expensive ammo

I have the Sig P226R in 9mm. I have the .22 kit & works great with most ammo. I can also get the .40 kit for it. love the gun. Aint cheap

Ive just ordered a ruger sr9 (my first pistol), found one for a deccent deal and decided why not.
You may want to consider one, they are very reasonable priced and seem to have pretty good reviews. Not sure about the .22 conversion though

Get yourself a $350 Norinco 1911A1 and a .22lr conversion kit. There are lots of 22 kits for 1911s.

Glock, Sig Sauer, and CZ all make guns that meet your initial criteria. Next, you have to decide your primary intended purpose, i.e.: what it is that you want your pistol to be able to do well.

thanks for the info guys.... looking at price point it might make more sense to just buy a dedicated 22 cal pistol

True, but a conversion kit makes it easier to practice shooting with your regular guns. If you are into sport action shooting, a conversion kit on your Glock or 1911 allows you to practice draw and control of the firearm.
