Wow, my first post on the Intermaweb! (I know, who cares? Where's the pictures?) Here ya go

VQ hammer and extractor
Dlask 12.5 bbl
Tuffer Buffer
NcStar scope (I know, I know...but so far good glass, thick hairs)
internal polish, bolt radius mod, overtravel screw by me
stock synthetic stock with bondo and krylon
I consider this 10-22 build entirely your forum's fault
Which leads to my question.
Did I channel the stock correctly for the barrel? Hoping Surfclod reads this, love your build, but I didn't see any straight profile pics of your rifle (and I find the search on this site easy to use). My 11/16 socket says my groove is true (Who knew they could talk? Let alone have an ear for music) but it sure looks like the barrel is rising out of the stock? It floats, with a rubber rest on the second rib from the front, the action seems straight, but why not ask the experts?
So off to the range. Tried Federal, Winchester HV, American Eagle and Win Wildcats. She liked the AE the best off the bench. Here's 5 10 rd. mags @ 62 yrds. from a sitting stance that works for me with the AE.
Now. The reason I posted this ragged a$$ group is to remind everyone to lock-tite ALL yer scope mount screws. Not most. ALL. this was lookin pretty sweet 'til the last mag wandered off to heck in a handbasket (that "flyer" at the top was me). Other than the idiot with the lacking lock-tite this rifle outshoots me, and I dunno if it was the beautiful day we're having today or what but I had zero FTanything. She cycled like Lance Armstrong. Oh, and I see a cheek rest in my future.
Thanks for your time and the great site!
